Join Jade Brook from Third Camp, and TACSI co-CEO Chris Vanstone as they support you to develop creative and practical strategies for allyship in your life, work and organisation.

These workshops weave together Jade's experience as a cultural consultant supporting organisations with reconciliation action planning and TACSI’s cultural journey as a non-Indigenous organisation under the guidance of Ancestor Aunty Vickey Charles.

The workshop is structured around TACSI’s Many Threads framework - a tool for allyship developed from TACSI's experience supporting not-for-profit organisations, philanthropy and government to be better allies.

The training is particularly relevant for teams and individuals developing and activating later stage Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs).

Our facilitators will work with you to tailor the course to your needs including selecting case studies relevant to your context.

This course is not cultural respect training, nor awareness-of-privilege training but an extension and compliment to them both.

What learners said

“I found the conversational approach to this workshop really valuable to learn such a broad range of topics that felt like they all connected to each other so well. The resources supplied are fantastic, the Allyship Pattern Pack has great suggestions for achievable actions.”

Participant, 2024

“Many Threads of Allyship is such an effective way to show the varying aspects of how we can show up as settlers, and in strong support of First Nations people. I strongly resonated with the 'Bridging' and 'Histories and Realities' as this is something we haven't fully scratched the surface of within our organisation.””

Project coordinator at DisasterWISE

“This is a great course to reflect, learn together and challenge yourself (and your organisation) to be a better ally. Thank you.”

Director at Director at Bloc Solutions - People Working Together

“Loved the honest, practical guidance, and hearing the stories of allyship in action. I'm walking away with so many invitations to grow in my professional and personal allyship. Thanks!”

Participant, 2024

“What I liked most about the session was the opportunity to connect with others who are exploring allyship in their lives and work.”
